Permission to use utility data

What you permit

Import, store, analyze, compare, and report electricity usage for this account.

This permission covers files you upload and utility access that you ask us to save for the account.

What you do not permit

This does not allow Home Energy Watch or a reviewer to change utility service, change account ownership, alter meter settings, make utility payments, or buy anything on your behalf.

Who can give permission

The account holder or another person with permission to manage the electric account may authorize access. Commission staff can review the recorded permission but cannot create it for the customer.

Withdrawing permission

An account manager can withdraw permission from the Utility page. Home Energy Watch then removes saved utility access details and stops future utility synchronization.

Previously imported history remains available until it is removed through a deletion request or an approved retention rule.
